CHAPLAINS MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT
We assist Associations and Churches with developing Career and Volunteer Chaplaincy Ministries.
We.....
1. Conduct Chaplaincy Ministry Probes - A Chaplaincy Ministry Probe is a systematic examination of the territorial area or a designated area within the Association with the intention of locating new opportunities for career and volunteer chaplaincy ministries.
2. Provide Resources - Select the "Resources" tab to view the various resources available through our department. We do not fund chaplaincy positions. The agencies which provide a chaplain for their employees fund the chaplain's position.
3. Conduct Chaplaincy Awareness Conferences or Presentations - At the request of the Association or Church, we will develop an Awareness Conference or make a presentation on Chaplaincy Ministries. We use career and volunteer chaplains who share their personal experiences as a chaplain and share their ministry with the attendees.
4. Utilize the Chaplaincy Advisory Team - The Chaplaincy Advisory Team is comprised of career and volunteer chaplains who meet annually with the Director of Chaplaincy Ministries to develop, plan and promote Chaplaincy Ministries in Florida. Go to Chaplaincy Advisory Team
