Missouri Baptist Medical Center - New Position Now Available!

James D. Layman is retiring October 1, 2010 from Missouri Baptist Medical Center. This position is a “staff chaplain” position which will be available late Summer or early Fall. The Staff Chaplain will work with the part-time chaplain to coordinate daily schedules and on-call week along with PRN chaplains and secretary. The Staff Chaplain also coordinates an active program of trained volunteers. The Staff Chaplain reports directly to the Medical Center’s Vice President for Human Resources.

The candidate should have at least five years of experience as a healthcare chaplain, be an ordained Baptist chaplain, and be Board Certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC).
